Terms of Service
Last updated: March 11, 2026
1. What RevDrop Is
RevDrop is a web analysis tool that examines publicly available information from websites you submit. It provides reports on technology stack, public security headers, third-party tools, SEO signals, and other data visible to any web browser. It also uses AI to generate structured reports and business ideas based on the analysis.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using RevDrop, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. What We Analyze
RevDrop only accesses publicly available data. Specifically:
- HTTP response headers returned by the target server
- Public HTML source code (the same content any browser receives)
- Publicly accessible files: robots.txt, sitemap.xml, security.txt, manifest.json, humans.txt
- Public DNS records via DNS-over-HTTPS
- Publicly served JavaScript and CSS files referenced in the HTML
RevDrop does not:
- Bypass authentication or access controls
- Use stolen credentials or session tokens
- Exploit vulnerabilities or perform penetration testing
- Access private APIs, databases, or admin panels
- Use headless browsers to simulate user interaction
- Store or redistribute copyrighted content beyond short technical snippets for analysis
- Perform denial-of-service or high-volume requests (one fetch per resource per scan)
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use RevDrop only for lawful purposes, including:
- Analyzing your own websites
- Market research and competitive analysis using public data
- Technology evaluation and benchmarking
- Identifying improvement opportunities for your own products
You agree not to:
- Use RevDrop to harass, defame, or target individuals or organizations
- Use scan results to exploit security gaps in third-party systems
- Resell scan data as a competing service without permission
- Submit URLs that require authentication (we will only receive the login page)
- Automate scans beyond your plan's limits using scripts or bots
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of RevDrop itself
5. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One person or organization may not maintain multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits.
6. Plans and Billing
- Free: 3 scans per month. No credit card required.
- Pro ($19/month): 50 scans per month, idea generation, comparison of up to 3 sites, PDF/JSON export, 90-day history.
- Team ($49/month): 200 scans per month, up to 5 team members, comparison of up to 5 sites, unlimited history, priority scanning.
Billing is handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
7. Scan Limits
Unused scans do not roll over to the next month. If you exceed your plan's scan limit, further scans will be blocked until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade.
8. AI-Generated Content
Reports and business ideas are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude). AI output is provided as-is for informational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or viability of any AI-generated report or idea. You are responsible for validating any information before acting on it.
9. Intellectual Property
RevDrop's code, design, and branding are our property. The scan reports and ideas generated for you are yours — you may use, share, or publish them as you see fit. We do not claim ownership of your scan results.
10. Data and Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using RevDrop, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimer
RevDrop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scan results will be complete or accurate. Website technologies change frequently, and our detection patterns may not cover every tool or configuration.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RevDrop and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Compliance with Laws
RevDrop is designed to comply with applicable laws worldwide by only analyzing publicly available data. However, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of RevDrop complies with the laws of your jurisdiction. If a website's terms of service explicitly prohibit automated access, you use RevDrop on that site at your own discretion and risk.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes informally before pursuing legal action.
